Crawling & Clapping!

So, last week Harper started kind of crawling. Last weekend she would crawl two steps, then go back down to her belly crawl, but last week she finally started really crawling! She likes to crawl from one side of the room to the other, always heading for something she's not supposed to, like wires, vacume cleaner, laptop...we need to rearrange some things to keep her out of trouble.

Last Friday, as if starting to crawl wasn't enough, she started clapping. When I was home with her Friday she just started clapping. I wasn't trrying to get her to clap or anything, she just clapped. All day, clap clap here, clap clap there. She's been doing it all weekend randomly; very cute.

We're still trying to polish her wave. She kind of has the wave down, but not really; just sometimes she'll throw her hand forward when you say "bye bye" to her. I think she'll pick that up sooner or later.

We took Harper out to play in the snow. We have been getting snow just about every day. Today we were supposed to get another 4-8 inches, but luckily it stayed south of us. We first took her out in her snow suit (last picture), but she could hardly move, so we just layered her all up and went back out.

Harper had so many cute outfits for Valentine's Day, she looked "sweet" all week!

Harper is 8 Months Old!

Oh my how time is flying! Harper turned 8 months old last Thursday.
She isn't eating anything new yet. We tried peaches, but they were too tart for her; we'll try again later.
She is crawling now, but just a few steps at a time, but she's getting better at it pretty quickly. She's getting pretty good at playing catch. No other new tricks that I can think of.

Super-fun Superbowl!

Harper's first Superbowl party was a lot of fun! She got to see Grandma & Grandpa and got to see all her cousins and aunts and uncles. The Block's put on quite a party!
